View Full Version : Are you an OOB?

Stands for Outside Of the Box. I didn't coin the word, but it rhymes with tube.

Lots of potential definitions, but couple I like (with apologies to Jeff Foxworthy):

You know you're an OOB if...

1. Response to your work is "Huh! Didn't know you could do that.".

2. Lots of your work starts with "I wonder what would happen if..."

Your turn!:D

Not only do I think outside the box, I would stamp on it too.

I get in a rut sometimes, but I LIKE to do things outside the box.

LOL fellow OOB-ies--Kathy & April!

I'm convinced that most of us have the capacity to do 'OOB', but (for me) my best OOB comes as a reaction to trying to find a way to create something when I don't have--or want to purchase--special materials. Or... I have a huge amount of something (styro, chenille, beer cans:eek:) & I'm tired of using them in the same old way.

Willy's comment about 'rut' is good. I'm most apt to go OOB when I'm in a rut.;)

OK other OOBs, chime in!
