I was going to only make 25 cards for immediate family, then it grew to 50, 75, 100 and now 125. It looked like a simple card, but it had alot of components. I hand cut each card, scored the fold line, used a bone folder to insure the crease, then cut the face card to size, then embossed it with a winter theme, then sprayed a light mist of mica watercolor, cut out ornaments from the thin dies, painted the top with the silver, added a pretty organdy bow in red, green, gold, purple, whatever ribbon I had on hand. Affixed the ornament with a pop dot, affixed the bow with redline tape. Used the big pink glider runner to affix the top card to the base card. Each ornament had a stamped message on it that varied. Then the envelopes, embossed them with the winter them from the face card. They had been prestamped with a Christmas ornament, too. Each finished card, received 3 rhinestones. Every card had a personal message calligraphed on the inside!

Julie, it started out with my family and then I kept thinking of others - neighbors. I only mailed about 30 cards, the rest were in the community where I live. I loved getting this card so much, I wanted to spread it around, so I did - by making my own. Didn't realize how many parts to it until after I started, but with the Big Shot you can get alot accomplished.
