Sharpie gel markers - These are really very interesting. I am using them. They glide nicely and give an artistic effect that I can't explain to marked texts. I am thinking of using them in other ways as to blending in mixed media or as resist. Tell me what you think, have you tried them?

I haven't tried them Susan because I've become leery of buying gel pens anymore because they always stop working. Sounds like you're having good luck with them, though. Let us know if the luck lasts, please.

not your usual markers
These are markers, not pens. I know about those gel pens. don't last, dry up. ugh. These are markers, wide and so unusual. I just can't describe it. Different from anything ever tried.

I didn't know Sharpie had gel markers. I'll have to look them up.

I didn't know they had them either; I don't buy gel pens because of the bad luck with them not working. I will have to keep an eye out for these new Sharpie Gel Markers; sound great!

Depending on the surface area, there is a different effect.

I've never seen them before, but will certainly keep my eyes peeled for them.
Thanks for the picture.

Interesting, Susan. TFS! Will they work on rubber stamps?

I like the effect that gel marker has. I'll look for them the next time I go to Staples.

These gel markers never dry out. Reminds me of a crayon in a way, but not a crayon - lighter than a crayon and clear like jello.
