Technique thread

Mary came up with a good idea to have a technique thread. Please read the GUIDELINES.....the flower child

1. This will be an on going thread.

2. Techniques, who doesn't love a technique. I know I do. Here is where you can upload a photo with directions on how to do a the technique.

3. It could be a card, ATC, a tag, something made from wood, glass, acetate, frames anything crafty.

4. Something's have no stamping on them and that is just fine. We are trying to get new members, maybe with a wide array of techniques we can attract someone new and here is where they can learn.

5. Most importantly have fun.

Now that you understand about this thread whom is first.......the flower child

chalkboard technique

Hi all,

Here's a technique a friend of mine shared with me which shows how to get a chalkboard effect. It uses Hero Arts inks and one of their stamp designs, but I'm thinking you could try this with any "flipflop block" as long as the cardstock is glossy and lets you manipulate the ink a bit. I sort of like the "getting your hands dirty" aspect of it.
