Very pretty technique April ! I havenít tried that. When I think I want to experiment with some of my supplies I get side tracked by an old stamp or fold and I go off in another direction! one of these days...... - Wendy

I made cards yesterday. I went shopping Monday and got some odds and ends at Tues Morning. And we went to hardware store, they had paint chips with pointed ends, they looked like houses in the rack. So I made a card with some of them, couldn’t help myself.
But no new techniques yesterday.
My daughter and I have been playing with paint pouring, and all the different ways you can do it. She does the reading and learning and then we play. The background on my COTM
Is some of what we have been doing. She has been working on tiles, wood and canvas.
I have been working on paper, chipboard, ATC s, you get a whole different look on different
Surfaces. We also made jewelry with the dryed paint skins. When you pour there is always run off, if the area under is plastic, you can pull off the dryed paint for your paint skins.
I have been trying to get the alcohol ink pearls, everyone is out of them. Now I am loosing my want for them.

Sheila, it sounds like you have been very creative lately! I need to look for those paint chips. They would be fun to use on cards. Today some friends are coming over to stamp with me. I will show you cards we make later.

I hope you all are having a good Memorial Day weekend. It is scorching hot here. We don't have anything planned for tomorrow. Just chilln'!

If anyone is interested in doing some card challenges there is a challenge event going on here at http://www.duhnproductions.com/forum...php?board=53.0. Some people are giving a small RAK to a randomly chosen winner. It is a week of fun challenges. This always helps me to get out of my crafting rut and try new things and visit old things I have forgotten about.

What have you all been working on lately? I pounced some alcohol inks along with the new Pearl alcohol inks onto acetate. After it dried, on the uninked side I stamped a dragonfly and cut it out. I love how it turned out!
