HI ! Can I use Quickutz monogram metal letter stamps in my Cuttlebug? I bought them from Crazy Scraps and am now wondering if I can before I open them up.Thanks,Julie

OK, I waited as long as I could! I opened the package and put the letter through the Cuttlebug and it did work.I had to use a paper clip to get the letter out though. Is that what you all use?

die cut machines - digital personal cutter

Does anyone own this nifty (Kwickutz) machine? It seems to be neat. There is a 75% off sale. That is not a main driver for purchasing however. Instead of printing, it cuts the designs on vinyl or paper. I've not seen much talk about it on the boards - Is it new? The designs are downloadable beyond the 50 that the company provides with the kit. Nice intricate shapes that you might see in a spellbinder design.

Just ordered a bunch of QuicKutz dies from their clearance site. QuicKutz assured me that their dies work in the Sizzix Big Shot. Has anyone used these dies with their Big Shot? There were also embossing folders for $2.50. There were sets for countries for $10.00 so i got the Japanese set (love Asian) and the English set (daughter lives in England). The English set had a police box which is also good if you're a Dr. Who fan.
I'll let everyone know how they work when I get them.

I have never used them with the Big Shot but I have used them with the little pink take along. They worked just fine with that.

They will work in your Big Shot as long as you have the newer adapter pad with the 3 tabs. I had to buy the new pad as my Big Shot came with the single pad. It cost $30. but is cheaper than buying a new machine and also works well with Spellbinders Nestabilities and the new Michael Strong die cuts.

Kathy - Maybe you know someone who has the adaptor - and maybe she can even find it for you.

I wouldn't be surprised because I think someone I know has every stamping product know to man.

My QuicKutz dies came today and to me they look just like Cuttlebug dies, metal on one side, white foam on the cutting side. Since I've had no problem using Cuttlebug dies in my Big Shot, I guess I'm good to go. Now I just have to clean off my table so I have room for my machine.
