Thanks JulieB.T. you've got to be right, in fact, anyday but last night I had figured that out but forgot last night.*LOL* I stayed up too late last night and was almost physically ill I was so tired. I'm not doing that again!

Since I keep my papers in my garage I don't invest alot of money because I'm afraid of what that environment will do to the papers. I'd be devestated to lose a big investment so I spend on other stuff. Someday I hope to have a room inside the climate controlled house and then I will invest in some patterned papers because they add sooooooo much to a card. I love seeing what other card creators do with their papers.

Thanx for the Marcos tip, JeanneLee. I took a quickish look & their cardstock looks interesting--so do lots of other things! Also been cruising Judikens site for what's available there--'specially cardstock.

Have to laugh 'bout the pp issue. One of the gals on SH has a challenge for WH11--make-your-own BG paper. Only 'prob'? She's requiring added texture with EPs, embellies & such... LOL! I have enuf probs just making 'regular' pp.

TFA, Kathy. I'd like medium weight cardstock, matte finish in both white & colored. Also looks like I need to find envelopes since my card-size ones are getting chewed up by the PO's machine.

Those I've been using are from PMG* card sets & they must be hand-canceled or risk having them not get thru'. Doing the 'hand cancel' means I have to actually go to the PO rather than just putting them out for the mail-carrier.

CTMH is indeed Close To My Heart! It and Stampin' Up are both companies that have consultants that sell their products (like the Tupperware parties). You can also find a consultant and order from their website. Either company is great.

Why do they have to be hand cancelled? Are they too thick or a weird size?

I was at Target today, and they have tablet assortments of nice cardstock. Don't know if you have a Target near you. Stampin' Up has a quality cardstock that you can order online. It's pricy, but worth it. You can get an assortment pkg. of each color themes, eg. pastels, bold, earth, neutral, and I can't recall the other one. They have two of each of the 10 or so colors. Hope that helps.

For unknown reasons if the PMG envies go thru any PO machine--cancelling/sorting--it chews them. There was a story in our paper back around Christmas about this. Size isn't the problem--most are regular card-size. Far as I know, PMG doesn't sell separate envelopes...

Well that's really strange Daniel. Maybe it's the paper quality and it's either too flimsy or too unyielding to go through the machine.
