Count me in -
Kathy made me buy 'a ton of stuff at last week's Scrapbook Expo specifically for secret santa swaps.' Only kidding - we both enabled each other.
I always love this swap!

Red face SWAPS choices

I love swaps that show our artistic abilities....the best.

But, living with no LSS, it's nice to get images of different stamps

I loved the jewelry swap that was great fun!

I'm game for just about anything that doesn't require posting it on site, cause I don't have a scanner.

Gosh and I thought I was the only one who didn't know this one until a few months ago....

LSS is Local Stamp Store....

For us in Aberdeen that means that we have to travel about 200 miles north or south, or maybe 120 miles southeasterly to get to a store that actually has only papers, stamps, inks, etc. We do a lot of online business. We had a lovely stamp store up until about 18 months ago, but it had to close due to the economy in our area....we are mostly farm and ag related. it was a great place for women to gather, and do stamping, scrapbooking, and have a cup of coffee. But life goes on.

LOL! Ain't abbreviations fun?! I've seen 'LSS' used to mean local stamp or scrap store--always B&M (not the beans' brand--means a 'brick & mortar')

I didn't know what that meant, either. We still have Elegant stamp, but it has gone down hill. They are way at the southern end of town and since I no longer drive, they might as well be out of town. The last time I did get there I saw nothing that interested me and I left without spending a cent. I have a sister-in-law who scrapbooks so I am hoping one day to get her to drive to Amhurst to go to Stamplistic and from there we could go to Hollo's who have cardstock by the pound, cheap. Haven't been there in a couple of years. About an hour and a half from hear.

Maybe we could have another embossing folder swap next year. Those who were in it enjoyed it and a few were sorry they missed it.

Ooh! That sounds good, Kathy! Perhaps Blossom would consider 'tweaking' the swap. Instead of just doing panels (only) we could swap diecuts, punchouts, cutouts that we emboss with our EFs?
