Does everyone still play with their die cut machines? I have a big shot, cricut mini and slice machine. I dragged out my slice machine last night and made this Easter tag.

Let's see what you guys are doing with your die cut machines. At one time they were the rage but now no one seems to talk about them anymore.

Kathy, that is an adorable bunny in the basket! Have you tried using the Cricut Craft Room with your mini? I cut my first card using it with the Cricut Expression 2 a couple of weeks ago. I use it as needed! My Big Shot I use more to emboss things, though I have a ton of dies.

We are heading to Easter dinner at our DD's in-laws(she got married in August of last year)....I need to get a couple of cards done. Maybe today I can play.

Kathy, very cute. I've been ignoring my die-cut machines as of late. I've been organizing and labeling things which is very time consuming..........the flower child

That's cool, Kathy. Which parts are diecuts?

About your 'Q' ... I use only my cuttlebug--never even fired up my Cricut --& tend to do diecuts in fits & starts. I have another 'medal swap' I signed onto-- Kathy. Thinking of using some metal diecuts for its construction & probably some EFs, as well. I like the CB 'cause I can do both dies & embossing without switching machines.

I use my Cuttlebug all of the time. This week I gave it a workout. I had to make 20 cards for Eastern Star Shut-ins and over 30 for church shut-ins. On both cards I used one of my cardmaker rectangles. On the 20 I embossed. On the 30 I saved myself time by using patterned paper. Then on all, I used a Spellbinders shape in the center, then a smaller shpe on top of that, with a cros stamped on it. My arm got a workout. Now I am considering an automatic E-bosser. I haven't tried my Pazzles, yet.

I only have a Cuttlebug. I love it and use it often. Mostly for backgrounds. My favorite are the polka dots.

Daniel the tag itself, the bunny, basket, eggs and grass were all cut with the Slice machine using four different cards. The basket is actually a cupcake because I didn't have a basket on any of my cards.

I SEE it now! Clever You! does that diecut 'card' have a separate diecut for the frosting?

Kathy, my interest has been rekindkled. Especially in the die cut and emboss in one easy step

Fiskars has a new machine out that cuts, embosses and prints. I saw it in a Joann's catalog of kid's crafts. If I think of it, I'll dig it out and post the details.

I have to change the blade on my Slice machine and I'm not looking forward to it. I think that's why I like my Big Shot the best, because I don't have to change any blades.
