Here’s my COTM from Sheila-Rose. Creating a watercolour background she added die cut tiny butterflies with a Michael Strong butterfly that was embossed, coloured and cut out and words. Very pretty! Thank you.

Wendy sent me this Faux shutter technique with mixed papers and stamping up greeting.  Love it.  This is harder then it looks because your cuttings and measurements have to be right on.  Love it!

Lois, glad you liked the card, I just think ocean scenes are really peaceful.  I always love just sitting and looking at tanks in the aquariums.

I forgot to comment on everyone’s cards!! So fun. Sheila, did you hand paint the watercolor background. Wonderful! Wendy, love how you matched all the patterns of paper. I’m not a quilter with fabric (too impatient) so it’s nice to see similar with paper. Debbie…I’m not sure if you all know that Rob is a marine biologist by degree, so anything “marine” always pings my “wowee” button. And Lois, well you know how much I love my card this month. Yep…it’s great we’re all inspired by the seasons and with Summer in full swing, cool colors definitely hit the spot. THANKS everyone for your wonderful swaps this month…well actually always!! 🙂
